ПОНЯТТЯ ТА ОСОБЛИВОСТІ ДІЯЛЬНОСТІ ГРОМАДСЬКИХ ОБ’ЄДНАНЬ НАЦІОНАЛЬНИХ МЕНШИН (СПІЛЬНОТ) УКРАЇНИ

Статтю присвячено дослідженню поняття «громадське об’єднання національної меншини (спільноти) України». Актуальність дослідження обумовлена реформуванням законодавства про національні меншини України, що є однією з умов надання Україні статусу кандидата на вступ в Європейський Союз. Обґрунтовано, що держава має приділяти більше уваги правовому регулюванню відносин за участі громадських об’єднань національних меншин з огляду на їхню кількість і роль у суспільному житті. З’ясовано, що Закон України «Про національні меншини (спільноти) України» має певні недоліки щодо визначення порядку утворення та діяльності громадських об’єднань національних меншин (спільнот). Запропоновано авторське визначення поняття «громадське об’єднання національної меншини (спільноти) України». Проаналізовано визначені Законом права громадських об’єднань національних меншин (спільнот) та охарактеризовано деякі з них. Виявлено недоліки правового регулювання відносин за участі одразу кількох таких громадських об’єднань. Зроблено пропозиції щодо удосконалення законодавства.
